Twigby 6-way Calling

Have you ever wanted to talk to more than one friend on the phone? 6-way calling makes this possible.  Below are the steps to initiate a 6-way call based upon your phone type. Please note that 6-way calling instructions can vary slightly on different phones. The instructions are generally the same. However, if you need instructions for your specific model phone, you can probably find the instructions in your user manual or with a quick internet search.

Method 1 (iPhone):

  1. Tap the Green “Phone” icon
  2. Call a friend. You may do this in one of two ways:
    1. Tap on “Contacts”. Tap on the friend’s name. Tap on their phone number to make the call
    2. Tap on “Keypad” and enter the phone number manually
  3. Talk to your friend. Let them know that you are in the process of adding another person to the call
  4. Press “Add call”. This icon is a large “+”. It is located in the bottom left corner of the two rows of icons
  5. Place the second call. You will have access to your contacts and the keypad. When the second call goes through, the first call is automatically placed on hold
  6. Talk to your second caller. Let them know that you are in the process of doing a 3-way call
  7. Press “Merge calls”. This will combine the two individual phone calls into a 3-way call. The “Merge calls” option is located in the bottom left corner of the two rows of icons. It temporarily replaced the “Add call” option
  8. You can continue to add and merge calls until you've reached a 6-way call
  9. Press “End Call” or the red phone button to end all calls at the same time

Method 2 (Android):

  1. Tap the phone icon
  2. Call a friend. You may access their number through “Contacts” or “Favorites”. Alternatively, you may use the keypad to enter their phone number
  3. Talk to you first friend. Let them know that you are in the process of adding another person to the call
  4. Select “Add Call”. This will provide you with access to your contacts, favorites, and the keypad. This icon may appear one of two ways: a person with a “+” or a large “+” with the words “Add Call”
  5. Place the second call. Select another friend from your list of contacts or favorites. Alternatively, you may enter the number on the keypad. Once the second call goes through, your first call is placed on hold
  6. Talk to your second friend. Let them know that you are in the process of doing a 3-way call
  7. Tap “Merge” or “Merge Calls”. Your first and second calls will combine into one 3-way call
  8. You can continue to add and merge calls until you've reached a 6-way call
  9. Tap “End Call” to disconnect all calls at the same time

Method 3 (Basic cell phone):

  1. Call your first friend
  2. Talk to your first friend and let them know that you are in the process of adding another person to the call
  3. Press your phone’s call button for one second. Pressing this button places the first caller on hold
    • Note: If you phone has a button labeled as “flash”, use that button instead of the call button
  4. Dial your second friend’s number
  5. Talk to your friend and let them know they are joining a 3-way call
  6. Press your phone’s call button again to merge the calls
  7. You can continue to add and merge calls until you've reached a 6-way call
  8. Press the “End” button to hang up the 6-way call.
