How do I transfer/port my number to Twigby?

We're glad you're ready to make the switch to Twigby Mobile! The good news is, the number you are using with your current provider is yours. This number can be activated with Twigby Mobile, as long as the number is still active on an account with your current provider and is eligible. If the number has been disconnected, that number becomes property of your provider and can be reassigned at any time.

If you wish to transfer/port your number to be used with Twigby Mobile, you will need your existing account number, any pin/password you may have (click here to check for your carrier), and the phone number. We will process that transfer request for you. When the transfer/port is complete, the number/account with the previous carrier should automatically be disconnected/canceled. However, we recommend following up with them for verification.

Remember, do not cancel your previous service until your number transfer is complete.

If you purchased a phone from Twigby Mobile, you will find the following instructions in your box:

  1. Go to twigby.com and click on sign in to access your account
  2. Enter the email address and password you used to create your Twigby account
  3. You will be directed to the "Account Summary" page
  4. Locate the line you wish to activate under the "Inactive Lines" section
  5. Click on “Activate Phone”
  6. Then click on “Continue Activation”

Your phone transfer is now being processed. You will still have service with your previous carrier until the port is successfully completed. When the transfer is complete, you will receive an email notification. Service with your previous carrier should automatically be canceled. However, you should follow-up with them for verification.

If you are bringing your own phone or only purchased a SIM card from Twigby Mobile, you will simply follow the transfer number steps during your simple activation steps.
