My phone didn’t activate… What do I do?

That's never good. Let's get it fixed. First things first - let's check the following details on your phone:

  • Is your phone charged?
  • Verify that your phone is not set to airplane mode.
  • Turn on Wi-Fi if you have access.
  • Restart your phone by powering it off and then back on.

If your phone is an Android, perform the steps below:

Update Network Settings:

    • Each phone is a little different, so you may have to play with the exact options on your menu, but in general, you can:
    • Open the dialer
    • Dial ##72786#
    • Some phones will automatically proceed to reset, and others will require you to do something like press “Menu,” then press “Reset,” then “OK.”
    • The phone will restart.

Profile Update:

    • Go to “Settings.”
    • Touch “System Update” (depending on the phone, the “System Update” option may be in the “About Phone” menu or on the “More” tab).
    • Touch “Update Profile.”
    • The phone will restart.

If your phone is an iPhone, perform the steps below:

Update Data Profile:

    • From the home screen, tap “Phone.”
    • On the keypad, dial ##873283# and tap the “Call” icon.
    • Tap “OK.”
    • The handset will search for profile updates and install them.
    • Tap “OK.”
    • The profile is now updated.
