What information do I need to transfer (port) my number to Twigby?

If you're trying to transfer your number to Twigby, the most frustrating part can be trying to figure out what information your current wireless carrier requires to release your number. We want to create the easiest transition for you to bring your number to us. Below is a list of port requirements by carrier and the information you will need to transfer your number to Twigby.

AT&T

  • Account number: Usually found in the upper right hand corner of any bill, or in your online account. If you have multiple services with AT&T that are all billed on one account, the account number should be a 12-digit number. It can be found under your wireless account section when logged in to your account.
  • PIN:
    • From your AT&T Mobile Device: Call *PORT (*7678). Follow the prompts to get your Number Transfer PIN sent to you via text. You'll need your account passcode to generate the Number Transfer PIN when calling *PORT (*7678).
    • From your myAT&T app: Sign into the myAT&T app. Go to your profile and select "People & Permissions", scroll to "Transfer phone number", and select "Request a new PIN". Your Number Transfer PIN will display on the screen.
    • From your online myAT&T account: Go to your myAT&T profile, choose "People & Permissions", and select "Wireless". Scroll to "Transfer phone number" and select "Request a new PIN". Your Number Transfer PIN will display on the screen.
    • Note: AT&T employees can’t generate a Number Transfer PIN on your behalf.

AT&T Prepaid & AT&T Business Accounts

  • Account number: Login to the myAT&T app or online and follow the link to view your statement. The account number can be found in the upper right-hand corner. Or, you can dial 1-800-901-9878 or *611 from your phone to obtain your account number.
  • PIN: A Number Transfer PIN is not required for these account types. Set up initially when you opened the account. If you don't remember, you can contact customer service at 1-800-901-9878.

AT&T Landline

  • Account number: Your 10-digit phone number.
  • PIN: This is the four digits listed after your phone number in the upper right-hand corner of your bill.

Boost Mobile

  • Account number: Contact Boost Mobile customer support at 1-888-266-7848 to get your account number. 
  • PIN: 4-digit number that you use to login to your account.

Consumer Cellular

  • Account number: Typically a 9-digit number that can be found online or by calling Consumer Cellular 1-888-345-5509. 
  • PIN: Last four digits of account holder's SSN.
    • Alternative PIN: 0000
    • Porting center number: 888-750-5519

Cricket

  • Account number: Can be found when logged in to your online account or by calling the Cricket Porting Department at 1-866-351-7678.
  • PIN: 4-digit Authorization ID (or "AID") that you set up when you set up your online account and it is the PIN that you need to enter when making changes to your account online. Make sure you turn your PIN ON if it is turned OFF.

FreedomPop

  • For Premium SIM cards: If the serial number on your SIM card (ICCID number) begins with 89014, you will need to contact FreedomPop support for port out information.
  • For Legacy SIM cards: If the serial number on your SIM card (ICCID number) begins with 89011, you can locate your account number and PIN by logging into your account and clicking on "Manage Settings" or visiting https://my.freedompop.com/settings/port-out-info.

Google Fi

  • Account number: Log into Google Fi on the website or app. Go to "Account", select "Manage plan" > "Leave Google Fi" > "Transfer your number to another carrier" to get your account number.
  • PIN: Log into Google Fi on the website or app. Go to "Account", select "Manage plan" > "Leave Google Fi" > "Transfer your number to another carrier" to get your PIN.

Google Voice

  • Account number: This is your 10-digit Google Voice phone number.
  • PIN: The PIN you use to access your Google Voice voicemail.

H2O Wireless

  • Account number: Call customer service at 1-800-643-4926 to get your account number.
  • PIN: Call customer service at 1-800-643-4926 to get your PIN.

Lively

  • Account number: See your bill or log into your account online.
  • PIN: Contact the Customer Care team at 800-733-6632 to get your PIN or set one up if you do not have one.

Metro by T-Mobile

  • Account number: This is your 9-digit account number.
  • PIN: Your PIN was set up at the time the account was created. It is an 8-digit number. If you do not remember your PIN, you can call or chat with Metro by T-Mobile customer service.

Mint Mobile

  • Account number: Contact customer service at 1-800-683-7392 or use online chat support to get your account number.
  • PIN: Contact customer service at 1-800-683-7392 or use online chat support to get your PIN.

Net10

  • Account number: If you are using a phone you purchased from Net10, the MEID or IMEI of your phone if your account number. If nothing has changed in your account, you can locate this number by dialing #06#. If there has been a change in your account, you may have to call or chat with customer service. You can also remove the battery and look underneath. If you brought your own phone to Net10, the 15-digit SIM card number or ICCID is your account number. 
  • PIN: Send a text message with the keyword "NTP" to 611611. You will receive a 4-digit temporary porting PIN that will be valid for 7 days. Do not request multiple PINs since it could lock the account.

Ooma

  • Account number: The IMEI of your phone is the account number.
  • PIN: Ooma does not require a PIN, so leave this field blank.

Page Plus

  • Account number: The IMEI of your phone is the account number.
  • PIN: 4-digit PIN you created after initial activation.

PureTalk

  • Account number: Log into your PureTalk account and click the "Profile" tab to see your account number.
  • PIN: Log into your PureTalk account and click the "Profile" tab to see your PIN. If you do not have a PIN set, you may use 0000 or 1111 as a default PIN. You may also set your own PIN to be used from the "Profile" tab.

Reach Mobile

  • Account number: Chat with customer support or call them at 844-445-3665 to get your account number.
  • PIN: Chat with customer support or call them at 844-445-3665 to get your PIN.

Red Pocket Mobile

  • Account number: Contact Red Pocket customer service to get your account number.
  • PIN: Contact Red Pocket customer service to get your PIN.

Republic Wireless

  • Account number: Your 10-digit phone number is your account number.
  • PIN: Your PIN is your billing zip code.

SafeLink Wireless

  • Account number: Your 10-digit phone number is your account number.
  • PIN: To request the NTP (Number Transfer PIN), you can send the keyword “NTP” to 611611.

Simple Mobile

  • Account number: IMEI of the phone (15-digit SIM card number). If you are using eSIM, you will need to contact customer support at 1-(877) 878-7908.
  • PIN: Contact customer support at 1-(877) 878-7908 to obtain your PIN.

Spectrum Mobile

  • Account number: Log into your account and you will see your account number at the top of the online account "Summary" page under your name. You can also find it by selecting the "Billing" tab and then "View Statements". Choose a statement and you'll find your account number at the top below the Spectrum logo.
  • PIN: Log into your account. Select the "Billing" tab and then "View Statements". Choose a statement and you'll find your security code (PIN) at the top below the Spectrum logo.

StraightTalk

  • Account number: MEID or IMEI of the phone or if you are using a BYOP (Bring Your Own Phone) SIM card, it will be the last 15 digits of your SIM card number.
  • PIN: Can be found on our online Straight Talk "My Account" page by clicking Update Personal Profile where it's listed as Current Security PIN. If that field is blank, be sure to set up a passcode PIN before porting.

Tello

  • Account number: From your online account (not the “My Tello” app), you can find your account number going to the “My SIM” tab, scroll down to the “Port Out” section, click “Information”, and click on the “Retrieve Tello Account Number” button.
  • PIN: 4-digit PIN that was issued to you during sign up and sent via email. If you do not know your PIN, you can get a new one from the “My Information” page in your online account. Click the green “Change” button beside “Security PIN”. Then click “Reset Security PIN” and follow the prompts.

TextNow

  • Account number: Chat with TextNow customer support to get your account number.
  • PIN: Chat with TextNow customer support to get your PIN.

Ting

  • Account number: Log into your online Ting account and go to “Account Settings”. Scroll down and click on “Port out information”. Click “Port out now”. You will see your account number.
  • PIN: Sign into your online Ting account and go to “Account Settings”. Scroll down and click on “Port out information”. Click “Port out now”. You’ll see your PIN(s) needed to transfer each phone number. The PIN is specific to the phone number you want to port out.

T-Mobile

  • Account number: 9-digit number. Can be found in the upper right hand corner of any bill or in your online account.
  • PIN: You will need to contact T-Mobile at 1-877-453-1304.

T-Mobile Prepaid

  • Account number: Your 10-digit phone number with 1 in front is your account number.
  • PIN: This is the 4-digit PIN used when calling customer service.  If you don't have a PIN, you can set one up by calling 611 from your T-Mobile device and say "no" to refill, choose "change my account PIN", then set your 4-digit PIN.  If you forgot your PIN number or need other porting help you can reach out to them at 1-877-789-3106.

Total Wireless

  • Account number: Text "IMEI" to 611611. If the last four digits of your IMEI is texted back to you then your IMEI is your account number.
  • PIN: TEXT "OTP" to 611611 to request a PIN.

TracFone

  • Account number: Call TracFone customer care at 1-800-867-7183 to get your account number and PIN.
  • PIN: Call TracFone customer care at 1-800-867-7183 to get your PIN.

Ultra Mobile

  • Account number: Contact Ultra Mobile customer support to get your account number.
  • PIN: Contact Ultra Mobile customer support to get your PIN.

US Cellular

  • Account number: If you do not have your account number, you will need to contact US Cellular at 1-888-944-9400.
  • PIN: This is the 4-digit PIN associated with your account, if you do not know it you will need to contact US Cellular at 1-888-944-9400.

US Mobile

  • Account number: Call customer support at 1-888-878-1488 or email help@usmobile.com to get your account number.
  • PIN: Call customer support at 1-888-878-1488 or email help@usmobile.com to get your PIN.

Verizon

  • Account number: Can be found on bill or online account.
    • Online account: Log into your Verizon account. Click on "Account" > "Account settings" > "Account settings overview". Your account number will be shown under "My Profile".
  • PIN: Log into your Verizon account. Click on "Account" > "Account settings" > "Account settings overview"> "Number transfer PIN". Scroll down to the bottom and click "Generate PIN".

Verizon Prepaid

  • Account number: Log into your Verizon Prepaid account online. Go to "Profile & Settings" > click on "Display My Prepaid Account Number" > add "-00001" at the end of that number. You can also contact Verizon Prepaid at 1-888-294-6804 to obtain or confirm your account number.
  • PIN: This is your billing account PIN.

Visible

  • Account number: Log in to your account either through visible.com or on the app, and head to the "Account" section. If logged in through visible.com, make sure you click the "Profile" tab inside the Account section. From there, you'll be able to see your account number.
  • PIN: Log in to your account either through visible.com or on the app, and head to the "Account" section. If logged in through visible.com, make sure you click the "Profile" tab inside the Account section. From there, you'll be able to send a request to receive your port out PIN. To send a request for your port out PIN, click "Request via Email".

Xfinity

  • Account number: Log into your account and the last four digits of your account number will appear at the top-right corner of the page. Click the down arrow to the right of the last four digits to see your full account number.
  • PIN: Go to "Devices" in your account online, select the device associated with the phone number you want to transfer to a new carrier. Then scroll down the page and select "Learn More" next to "Transfer your number, cancel this line" for details on obtaining your security PIN by text.
