If you would like to use your phone as a hotspot, you must confirm that mobile hotspot is on within your Twigby Mobile account by following the steps below.
How to confirm that mobile hotspot is on within your Twigby Mobile account:
- Log in to your Twigby Mobile account
- Click "ACCOUNT SETTINGS". If you do not see it, tap on the orange menu icon . Then you will be able to choose "ACCOUNT SETTINGS"
- Scroll to "LINE SETTINGS" and select the desired line from the drop-down menu (if you have multiple lines)
- Next to “Mobile Hotspot”, make sure it says “On”
- If it does not say “On” and says “Off”, you need to turn Mobile Hotspot on within your account
- Click on “Mobile Hotspot” and read the disclaimer to turn it on
- Click "YES” to turn hotspot on
After that, you should be able to turn hotspot on in your phone’s settings and connect the device to your mobile hotspot.
How to turn mobile hotspot on in your phone settings:
- Go to the Settings of your smartphone
- Locate the Hotspot or Tethering option
- Turn on Hotspot or Tethering from there
Now that mobile hotspot is enabled on your phone, you will need to connect to mobile hotspot from the other device:
- Go to your device’s settings
- Look for your Mobile Hotspot network and connect to it
- If it asks for a password, the password is in the Mobile Hotspot settings of your Twigby Mobile phone
